Buying.
Do prices include VAT?
Prices are shown with VAT included. Payment is handled by Stripe, which acts as the reseller: it works out the tax for your country at checkout and issues the receipt.
Single systems or the whole toolkit?
Buy single systems when you need a few of them: each one lists what it depends on, with prices, and every dependency is added to the order only once. If your order costs more than the whole toolkit, the shop tells you, and the full toolkit is available on the Unity Asset Store.
Is it cheaper on the Asset Store?
No. A system costs the same here and on the Unity Asset Store, and a framework sold there as one package — Visual Novel, Platform 2D — costs the same here too, with everything it needs included in that price. The store shows prices without VAT and adds it at payment; here prices already include it, so the same purchase ends up at the same figure.
Why are some systems not sold on their own?
Systems that would cost a couple of euros are not sold separately: handling the order costs more than that, and a cart full of two-euro lines helps nobody. They are free instead, source included. Most of them are in the Extras package, which anyone can download with the Core without buying anything. The others arrive inside every order that contains a system built on them, listed line by line so you always see what you are getting.
What do I receive with an order?
The package of every system you chose, the package of every system they require, and the free UGTK Core, as .unitypackage files. Systems used only by demo scenes are added only if you tick them.
In which order do I import the packages?
The Core first, then the systems you chose, then the ones they need, as your order page lists them. The packages share the same file identities, so nothing is duplicated. Details on the installation page.
Which systems need a server?
Only the ones marked needs a server: they talk to a PHP and MySQL backend you own. The schema and the endpoints are included, and the setup is on Server setup.
How many people can use a licence?
One licence per developer seat, unlimited projects of your own. The full terms are on the licence page.
Can I get a refund?
Stripe handles refund requests as the reseller and applies the consumer protection rules of your country. If a file is damaged or a system does not work as documented, write to marcellodebonis.work@gmail.com first.
I closed the page after paying. Where are my files?
The order page address is also sent to the email you used at checkout. Open it again at any time for fresh download links.
About UGTK.
Which Unity versions does UGTK support?
Unity 2022.3 LTS or later. Systems bought in the shop are imported as .unitypackage files, the Core first; the full toolkit installs from the Unity Asset Store.
Is UGTK open source?
No. You buy the systems you need in the shop, one at a time, or the whole toolkit on the Unity Asset Store. The private repository is opened only to people who collaborate on UGTK, under NDA.
Do I have to adopt the whole toolkit?
No. Buy only the systems you need: each page lists what it depends on, with prices, and the Core is free.
Where has UGTK been used in production?
In 35 shipped projects so far: live brand activations for companies like Isybank, BYD, Lilly, Trustpilot, KNX and TikTok, phone-as-controller arena games, quizzes and full games. See the showcase.
Does it work with AI coding agents?
Yes. Every system ships with a Markdown doc that is rendered 1:1 on this site and in the repo, so an agent can read the setup, usage and API of a module the same way a developer does.
How do I get support or report a problem?
Write to marcellodebonis.work@gmail.com or use the report page. Documentation errors, broken captures and bugs get fixed at the source.
